'Fans Beg Former Korean Boy Band Member To Return'

Travis Mayfield, of 'edmonds KOMO' submitted an article on the 28th of September, claiming that US, HOTTEST, have 'begged' Jay to come back. He has exploited our intentions of showing supporting to Jay. We just wanted to see him smile again through the 'Sky Banner Project'.

Briar you put so much effort into it! We dont and will never blame you for what something beautiful has been taken so so out of context.

This is what Mr Mayfield had to say:

'Over the past few days you may have seen an airplane circling the area with a huge sign in tow that reads "J. What Time is It Now?"

It turns out what's behind that sign includes an international boy band, a MySpace post, and legions of heartbroken fans focused squarely on Edmonds.

Think of them as the Korean equivalent to Jonas Brothers: they're called 2PM and these guys have every teen, tween and pre-tweet in South Korea entranced.

Jay Park is one of the most popular members, but he's also Korean American and told KBS World Radio in June he auditioned for the group in the US where he grew up.

"I used to break, like b-boy and I used to rap. So my mom said go audition for this thing," Park told the radio interviewers.

Park made the cut and for months was one of the most popular members of one of the most popular boy bands in southeast Asia.

In early September, however, a fan discovered that before auditioning and while living in the US, Park apparently wrote a few disparaging sentences on his MySpace page regarding Koreans.

Those sentences were made public and Park abruptly left the group and went into seclusion.

Now fans believe they've found Park living at his parent's home in Edmonds. Fans have reportedly sent him gifts and letters begging him to return to 2PM and Korea.

KOMO News has been unable to independently verify whether Park is in the area or even whether his parents own a home in Edmonds.

One Korean music news web site, however, reports Park's church in the Seattle area has issued a statement on behalf of him, "Very thankful. This has given strength and bravery. Jaebeom [Jay Park] has revealed that he will live in the love and sincerity that everyone has showered on him."

Over the last few days some fans even hired a pilot to circle the Puget Sound area exactly at 2:00pm trailing that banner.

The author of another widely circulated internet post claims to be a close family friend.

The friend writes, "I asked him, Jaebeom, do you wanna go back to Korea?"

"Yes..but I'm not sure."

However, please do not send any abusive messages to him. KHottest are currently working to clear the misinterpreation the Korean Media has written about this report!
